Summer 1969 Woodstock took place, the beginning of the greatest era of music. Clive’s great era too, we met in summer 1970 ….Christine, Pam, Ricky, Clive, and me too, later Sally arrived. With our many adventures in his Birmingham clubs, Salmon fishing in Sedburgh and Christmases in Tresco.
The era continued again now with adventures with Olive, Clive and me in Ulverston…. later his and Olive’s beautiful family came along. Clive as ever helping guide others and us meeting for the very occasional pint over many later years to May ´23 when I last saw him.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
